💌 What is Embodiment?
Hey Readers!
Let’s begin with a breath.
Seriously, take one. A deep, real one.
And now ask yourself: Where am I right now? Not just in the room—but in my body?
Embodiment is the art of returning to ourselves.
It's more than just noticing how your body feels. It’s about living in it, listening to it, and letting it speak.
The truth is—many of us have spent years detached from our bodies. Whether it was trauma, religion that taught us our flesh was bad, the pressure to perform, or the belief that emotions weren’t “godly,” we learned to numb. To dismiss. To disconnect.
But Scripture tells a different story.
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you…? Therefore honor God with your bodies.” — 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Not just our minds. Not just our good intentions. Our bodies.
God designed us to be whole—not split in pieces. When we come back home to the body, we’re honoring the way God made us: integrated, Spirit-filled, and fully alive.
This month, we’re walking through The Embodied Healing Workbook. It’s gentle. It’s powerful. It’s trauma-informed and full of wisdom that aligns with how God lovingly invites us into healing—from the inside out.
So whether you’re new to this or years into the journey:
Let’s walk it together.
Let’s come home to our bodies—the place where the Holy Spirit dwells.
💭 This week’s simple reflection:
Where do I feel safe in my body—and where do I feel tension or numbness?
Jot it down. No judgment. Just presence.
