“Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing…” – John 5:19
There’s a quiet power in living this way—watching, listening, responding to the movement of heaven.
This month in Reader’s Nook, we’re sitting with Revelator by Tommy Miller. But I’m not just reading this book. I’m living it.
This word—Revelator—feels alive in my spirit.
Not a title. A way of being.
It’s an invitation to return to a posture of divine dependence.
Where revelation becomes our rhythm.
Where rest replaces striving.
Where intimacy replaces effort.
This passage from John isn’t just a moment in Jesus’ life. It’s a mirror for ours.
Jesus only did what He saw the Father doing.
What if we began to live that way, too?
That kind of hearing doesn’t begin with effort—it begins with identity.
You don’t need to climb a spiritual ladder.
You don’t need to beg for divine crumbs.
You are already seated. Already fused. Already free.
Here’s the question I’ve been asking—and maybe it’s for you too:
What is revelation, and how do you live from it?
Not just receive it… but become a Revelator?
Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing more thoughts on this in my paid posts—including some simple ways you can practice living from revelation in your everyday rhythm.
But for today, I just want to bless you with this truth:
You were never meant to feel far.
You were never designed to be disconnected.
You were born to hear.
You are already one.
Let’s live like it.
