🎨 Week 3 — Recovering a Sense of Power
The Artist's Way Challenge
Hey Readers ✨
Welcome to Week 3 of The Artist’s Way Challenge.
This week’s theme is Recovering a Sense of Power — and it’s exactly what it sounds like:
Coming back to your truth, your boundaries, and your creative authority.
For me, this week felt like a gentle reckoning.
Julia Cameron talks about how we sometimes give away our creative energy — through fear, comparison, or even trying to live up to someone else’s timeline.
And wow… I felt that.
As I moved through the exercises, I could literally feel my body responding — the moments of resistance, the emotions bubbling up, the stories of “who am I to create this?” that love to sneak in.
But here’s the thing: your power isn’t something you earn.
It’s something you remember.
The Artist’s Way reminds us that our creativity is directly connected to our emotional energy. When we hold onto old stories, pain, or judgment — that energy stays trapped.
When we release it, we open the channel for inspiration to flow again.
That’s why I love weaving in The Emotion Code alongside this journey.
It’s a gentle way to clear those energetic blocks so your creativity — and your life — can flow freely again. 💫
If you’re reading The Artist’s Way book and feeling those emotional layers rising, that’s not a setback — it’s healing happening.
Take a pause. Breathe. Feel.
You’re releasing to rise.
If you feel called to go deeper and clear what’s coming up during this journey, you can book a 1:1 Emotion Code session with me here 👇
